Learning Empathy Through Diversity- Child Care Providers – Long Beach

Children’s Home Society of California invites you to attend our Learning Empathy Through Diversity in-person provider workshop in Long Beach on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 9:00am to 11:00am.

This workshop will explore diversity and its value for child development. Child care providers will acquire skills to build supportive and culturally sensitive relationships with children and families. Participants will learn about the development of empathy and how it connects with diversity and family culture. During this workshop, we will share diversity activities that generate tolerance, cultural understanding, and empathy in all learning domains.
