Enrollment Event – Sutter and Yuba Counties

Attention families seeking child care in Sutter or Yuba Counties, Children’s Home Society of California is pleased to share that we are now enrolling income-eligible families. If you believe your family is income eligible and you are interested in receiving free or low cost child care, please attend this enrollment event.

Please bring the following documentation for yourself (and a secondary parent residing in the household, if applicable) in order for CHS staff to determine your eligibility for child care services:

• Four full weeks of income from March or April 2026 (including check stubs, child support, etc.) (per parent)
• If one or both parents attend school/training, bring an electronic print-out of the class schedule for all classes
• Child(ren)’s birth records (e.g., birth certificate or other reliable documentation indicating the relationship of the child to the parent)
• School-aged child(ren)’s school bell schedule(s)
• Immunization records for all children under the age of 5
• Child care provider information (name, address, and phone number) — You may select a license-exempt (friend, family, neighbor), licensed family child care home, licensed or license-exempt center to care for your child
